Um. I don't quite know who to thank, so I'm just going to throw this out in the open. I hope you can even read this.
I really love my new octopus, and I really want to be able to thank you personally! It's one of the best presents ever, if only because of the meaning behind it. I've never met another person who has the same ability as I do before! Tee hee. Get it? Because it stretches?
Anywho, I really do hope you tell me who you are, because I love it.

Earlier tonight, I was watching this show on ABC called What Would You Do? They had these actors pretending that they were in a sorority/fraternity, and some of them were hazing these poor recruits. I don't think I've ever been more upset in my life. Why wouldn't anybody stop to help them? The number of people who were concerned were so few compared to the people who just walked on by! There were even a few people who joined in.
And then, there was this other segment where actors would faint on the street. People would stop for a nice looking lady, but when they had a homeless looking man do it, hardly anybody stopped to help him, or dial for an ambulance. How could anybody do that to another human being? Just typing about it makes me really, really upset.
One woman stopped for him. She didn't have a phone, so she waited and tried to get people to stop and call 911. Nobody would stop. It took so long to get one person out of dozens of New Yorkers to take the time to take out their phone and call for help. He could have died.
I couldn't watch it anymore. I had to turn the television off.
... Am I over reacting? Is that really normal?
